The NY Times Schools You to Scene Anatomy

I generally stopped reading physical newspapers more than two years ago and instead get all my news from the online versions of the papers I like to read.  Apart from the savings, environmental and clutter issues, the best part of the online news sources is that they offer more in the way of video, photos and interaction.

One of my favorite of these sections is the New York Times Anatomy of a Scene videos, where some of your favorite directors of your favorite films break down their directing decisions for specific  scenes.  It’s a free mini film education and a rare glimpse into a director’s mind and some of the minutia of making a scene work.
