SNEAK PEEK: The 2nd Edition of "The Shut Up and Shoot Documentary Guide"

Y’all know the grind never stops at Down and Dirty DV, so if you don’t see any blog posts for a minute, know that I’m working on something ELSE to educate and motivate aspiring filmmakers.  And for the last few months that something else has been the 2nd edition of my first book, The Shut Up and Shoot Documentary Guide.  (Dropping this Fall.)

Beyond just giving technical film instruction, I hope I’m also able to get in your head some and really inspire you to think about filmmaking with a truly Down and Dirty guerrilla mindset that allows you to take FULL advantage of all the resources at your disposal.   Whether you’re just shooting a short project for a class or making the next break out indie feature to play at Sundance, first you gotta get ya mind right, baby.
