R.I.P. Steve Jobs…Inspirational Innovator

Moreso than any other single person, the visions of Steve Jobs impacted my life and business in ways that I couldn’t even imagine at the time.  The films, books, websites, podcasts and DVD’s I’ve created over the years have all been created on Apple products.

My vision for my first book, The Shut Up and Shoot Documentary Guide, was inspired by the idea of creating “the iPod of film books” as I first referred to it on the product page.  The whole idea behind starting Down and Dirty DV to me was to make the overly-complex endeavor of filmmaking simple and accessible for everyone through illustrated no-nonsense user-friendly instruction…which was inspired largely by Steve Jobs visions of the iPod.

Thanks for the inspiration and innovation, Steve.  My business, products and life are better because of your products and vision.  You will be missed, but never forgotten.
