I just read about these guys in a NPR story and was most intrigued and impressed… Encyclopedia Pictura is an environmentally-conscious, forward-thinking, hip, young, put-ya-money-where-your-mouth-is collective of talented filmmakers that create cutting edge animated commercials, music videos and anything else that excites their imagination. Perhaps even more interesting than their work itself is their hardcore commitment to environmental sustainability by building and living in a self-described “Hobbit village” they call Trout Gulch. (No Joke.)
Their cool and funky video art has done more than just rack up the hits online, it’s made them a hot commodity amongst ad execs and Fortune 500 companies looking for cutting edge original commercials, but true to their form and convictions, Encyclopedia Pictura says they only do ads for products they actually use.

I like these people and their work. Check them out for yourself…
